Is Islam Accept Secularization? Part One Prof. Hasan Yahya, Professor of Sociology Is Islam Secularizable? To answer this question, we need to say that Islam is one of the world’s oldest religions is also one of the world’s most adaptable — even to a secularist society.” Sadik J. al-Azm, an intellectual Arab dealt with this issue, he wrote:”The question of whether Islam can be secularized has been on the agenda of modern Arab and Muslim thought and history since Bonaparte’s occupation of Egypt in 1798.In fact Arabs have been attempting to settle the issue since at least the last quarter of the nineteenth century; and part of the twentieth century. For example; since what Arabs often refer to in our recent past as the Arab Renaissance, or Arab Awakening, or Islamic Reformation, or what the late expert on the period, Albert Hourani, an Arab Historian, aptly called the “Liberal Age” of Arab thought.” Lying Spouse As response to change in his attempt to formulate a realistic answer to the question Is Islam secularizable?, He started by raising another question: was the simple, egalitarian, and unadorned Islam of Mecca and Medina (known as Yatherb in Arabic) at the time of the Prophet and the first four Rightly-Guided Caliphs (chosen by the then-emerging Muslim community as his successors) compatible with the dynasties of such complex empires as Byzantium and Sassanid Persia at the time of their Arab-Muslim conquest? He answered negatively and positively together to the question:”Yes, the two became very compatible in an incredibly short period of time. But the early Muslim purists were absolutely right at the time of the first Arab conquests to insist that nothing in the Muslim orthodoxy of the day could make the Islam of Medina, Mecca, and the four Rightly-Guided Caliphs compatible with hereditary monarchy.

On a warm Bangalore December afternoon the students, parents, teachers of Trio World School (TWS) and members of the community gathered to share in the Christmas spirit which was wonderfully illustrated through the voices of the pupils raised in song and shared humour as they enjoyed “The Selfish Giant”, a play by Oscar Wilde and music selected by the schools music teacher. For several weeks now the school has resonated to the children learning their play lines, singing their songs and studying their moves. Today has been the culmination of that preparation, when in an event filled with joy; the audience got to experience the end result of all of the hard work. The music and the joyful voices raised in song, brought tears to the e Men and Infidelity yes of many of the audience, as they remembered other Christmas’s they had experienced. The audience was also greeted with Christmas “goody bags” which had been supplied by AGS Fourwinds, sponsors for this event. There was also an exchange of gifts between teachers and parents as they shared the spirit of “peace and goodwill”.Dr Paul F. Meekin, who is the Headmaster of Trio World School, the Premier British International School in South India thanked all who participated, those who worked so hard to make this happen and also the parents and community for attending. He wished everybody a peaceful and happy holiday break and said that he looked forward to seeing them all again at future events organised by Trio World School in 2011.

An awareness of the importance of energy efficiency is at an all time high and likely only to get higher still. Renewable or more effective energy sources are no longer just topics pushed by companies peddling their wares but are now international news headlines and political agendas. With the recent revelation that all UK homes are to be fitted with asmart energy meter by the year 2020, this further emphasises the point. Energy performance certificates are now a legal requirement when buying or selling a property; these certificates grade the energy efficiency of a building and suggest ways of improving it in the future. Just driving around or going about daily business, it is becoming very obvious that solar power is not only being introduced but being embraced. Signs of Cheating Schools in particular seem to be installing solar panels to contribute to their power sources and what better place for solar energy to be present, where our future generations are being primed for life and prepared as the next custodians of the planet. So what is this solar power that is becoming and going to become the bedrock of energising the world? Well Wikipedia describes it as follows, ?Solar energy refers primarily to the use of solar radiation for practical ends? and goes on to say, ?Solar technologies are broadly characterized as either passive or active depending on the way they capture, convert and distribute sunlight.? The active solar power we are referring to uses photovoltaic panels, pumps and fans and then converts the sunlight into useable outputs.

In order to start downsizing government spending, several organizations, including the Cato Institute, have recommended that the U.S. Department of Energy beeliminated and the savings be used to reduce the deficit or returned to the rightful owners, the American taxpayers. The primary reason for the termination of the Department is the fact that since its inception decades ago, it has come up withnext tonothing of value in the energy field. It has not developed and implemented a comprehensive national energy strategy to reduce our dependence on foreign and carbon based fuels and its support for a large variety of energy projects as paid off in virtually no successes. And it is not as if there are no opportunities out in the real world, outside of the D.C. beltway, in the energy filed that have potential to made for a better energy situation in the U.S. It is just that the Department of Energ Signs of Lying y, like so many government functions, never seems to get around to being effective and efficient in executing its charter responsibilities. Consider what is going on in this industry that is succeeding without the Department of Energy:- On July 8, 2010, the Associated Press reported that an experimental solar powered plane had completed a successful 24 hour continuous test flight. This technology proved that it could collect enough energy from only the sun during the daylight hours to power itself continuously in the air for 24 hours. It contained 12,000 solar cells and absolutely no carbon based or emission producing technology. The plan reached heights of 28,000 feet and speeds of over 75 miles per hour. This was obviously no Kitty Hawk type experience. The plane owners are working on a larger solar powered plane that they expect would be capable of international flights within two years.
