Just finished your undergraduate degree online? Achieved a bachelor of writing perhaps? Now you are an online graduate it is time to look at your options and decide whether further study is necessary or job hunting is on the cards. Studying your degree from home usually means one of two things – a) you are an adult learner and you were not prepared to study on campus with the young and unruly college goers; or b) you have more pressing responsibilities such as children to care for or an important job that you cannot give up.Now you are an online graduate and have successfully completed of a bachelor of writing, there are some hard choices for you to make that are not so hard for the younger set such as inet media acceptance of pay cuts, long work hours, relocation and entrance level employment.Any new career has a starting point, and if you, the online graduate, are planning to seek a job as a copywriter or a junior Journalist for example, there is a risk of having to accept a starter position, even in the mail room and lesser pay than your current job. However, with you degree firmly under your belt, any starter position will not last long, especially if you accept the tasks with grace and maturity whilst constantly offering your own writing work up and constantly offering to help in any situation. The key is to get your foot in the door as an online graduate and then quickly work your way up by getting noticed.
